With an intimate itinerary featuring a guided wine tour of Domaine Fourrier and Bass Phillip wines with Ned Godwin MW, this is a weekend not to be missed.

An Unforgettable Weekend of Fine Wine & Dining

Our celebration begins on Friday, 21st February, as guests arrive in Dunkeld from 3pm onwards. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon exploring the picturesque surroundings or relaxing by the pool before gathering for an exceptional degustation dinner at Wickens restaurant’s Private Dining Room.

This elegant evening will highlight a carefully curated selection of Bass Phillip and Domaine Fourrier wines, paired beautifully with an exquisite menu designed to enhance every note and nuance of the wines. Guests will experience vintages from Jean-Marie Fourrier, alongside premium selections from Bass Phillip, complemented by rare Champagnes and a stunning Sauternes to conclude the evening.

Saturday: A Celebration of Fine Wine & Culinary Excellence

Wake up to a in room breakfast in your Mountain View Room before a leisurely start to the day. At 11:30 am, we invite you to a Champagne morning tea in the Royal Mail’s renowned kitchen garden, surrounded by the freshest summer produce. Sip on fine Champagne as you enjoy the tranquil setting of one of Australia’s most celebrated culinary gardens.

The evening culminates in an intimate dinner within the Royal Mail Cellar, where we will pay homage to some of the world’s most distinguished French producers, including Domaine Leroy, Domaine A.F Gros, Champagne Billecart-Salmon, and Château Montrose. A truly spectacular finale to a weekend of indulgence and discovery.

Meet Ned Goodwin MW & The Legacy of Bass Phillip Wines

Born in London and raised in Australia, Ned Goodwin MW brings a wealth of global experience to this special occasion. As an award-winning educator, consultant, and judge, he offers a deep understanding of the nuances behind some of the world’s most revered wines.

The Bass Phillip vineyards are renowned for their dedication to minimal intervention, allowing the terroir to express itself fully. Acquired by Jean-Marie Fourrier of Domaine Fourrier in 2020, Bass Phillip continues to uphold its tradition of producing some of Australia’s most sought-after Pinot Noirs. This weekend provides a rare opportunity to experience these wines in a truly exclusive setting.
